In the year 2015, ORYX Energies consulted ESM Consulting Engineers Co. Ltd Tanzania to perform a Full Detailed Engineering Design and Prepare Tender Documents, Engineering Drawings and Project Estimates, for the proposed Reinforced Concrete Access Bridge which will assist in the Transportation of Petroleum Products and Bio-Ethanol from the Existing Jetty located along the sea shores of Freetown in Sierra Leone. The project was awarded after Oryx Energies decided to do Major Expansion in Oil and Gas Exploration, Extraction, Sales and Distribution all over the World.
The assignment was accompanied by the following Project Activities:

• Detailed Stress Analysis
• Detailed Design of Reinforced Concrete Bridge
• Preparation of Detailed Engineering Drawings for construction of Reinforced Concrete Bridge

In this assignment, Geophysical Survey was the Initial Stage involved in the Project Feasibility Studies, which was found to be very crucial for this type of the project. This was conducted to provide Essential Geology parameters which are very useful in the Structural Design of Foundation Stability of The Access Bridge related to the Soil Parameters provided from the Laboratory Test Results of the extracted from the allocated Site Soil Sub-Layers.
